What has happened to Helen Hunts face?

I mean, she must be 49, 50 by now and it looks like someone has put their knee on the back of her head, grabbed her ears and pulled with all their might! Is it just me or is this really obvious? I think permanently surprised is an understatement. It is a real shame when this happens to celebrities as I feel that it affects their ability to act to their full ability and makes them unable to properly convey emotion. In a film like this where a roller-coaster of emotion is the key to the films success and more importantly the (positive) reaction of the audience, I think it is not only a waste of money on her part but a waste of talent. Discuss :p

Absolutely understand where you're coming from, but considering how so many of her fellow female thespians "look", I think she's definitely in the "better" category.

She could stand to put on a little weight and perhaps that would cause her face to "fill out" a little bit and not look so stretched.

I have to say though, I would much rather look at her as she is now than I would look at so many of the Hollyweird bunch like Joan Rivers, Angelina Jolie, Melanie Griffith, Dolly Parton, etc. - who all look like they have had some kind of extreme allergic reaction that caused their lips to inflate and their eyes to pull together!

I haven't seen Helen Hunt in anything since I saw What Women Want when it came out. Although that was a long time ago, I didn't expect her to show her age as much as she has. But I also didn't think anyone else besides me would notice. Its just so unfortunate. She used to be such a beautiful actress and now, well, there's no nice way to say it. She's starting to look like a man.

I saw a premiere last night and loved the film but I have to admit, I was constantly distracted by Helen Hunt's face. I agree, something was weird about it.

It's sad because without surgery I bet she would be a good looking older lady. She's in fantastic shape and her breasts still hang with dignity....but that plastic surgery look just ruins it for me.

People just refuse to age gracefully anymore.

You're not a writer Fink, you're a goddamn write off

She looks fine to me.

I was really impressed by her body. I did not look anywhere near that good at 50. As for her face, she looks fine for 50. She's not playing a great beauty in this movie. I'm sure she's had some work done, but that's OK. She was excellent in this role, both acting and looks wise.

Her body is OK, but not spectacular. I found her face so weird-looking, with her forehead pulled tight and her cat-like eyes, that it completely distracted me from her acting. The lower half of her face is very aged for a woman of 49...she looks 15 years older than the typical woman her age. I kept thinking how strange her face looked, half lifted or botoxed or whatever, and the other half so old-looking.

I suppose they wanted an average-looking woman to play the part but Helen Hunt is just scary-looking now.

they used a vancouver BC based FX studio to morph her back a few years,

they took digital enhancement and wiped away any wrinkles and all that jazz

i know as my cousin wrote the binary code for the morphing software

On a scale of 1 tp 10, with 10 the highest, and considering her age, I would give Hunt a 5 for face and 8 for body. Her face was never more than average; too thin, and the nose was always too aquilar. I really don't think that she has had much plastic surgery. Actually, a nosejob when she started out would probably have been a good thing. Her bod is really nice, though.

I read (haven't seen the movie yet) that they didn't use the normal amount of staged lighting to light the scenes. They were filmed more as if you were actually there, rather than if they were making a movie.

This is extremely abnormal to see in films.

I just googled 'helen hunt the sessions images' and saw scenes of her from the film, and that's what I'm thinking

Lighting can go a long way in making someone appear more (or less) attractive

Might this be at all what you're referring to?

Well, All i know is to me she still looks very very HOT, and i would marry her in a heart beat!!
