How did Helen Hunt ...?

---Spoiler---
Achieve orgasm when he only lasts a few seconds? Does she take care of that herself?

You can see her hand touching herself while she is on top of him. When I saw it I said "Finally! Onscreen sex that shows manual clitoral stimulation, instead of a woman just magically coming, hands-free." Most woman need something rubbing their clit. Length of penetration is secondary or not a factor if you are turned on by foreplay.

It's mostly mental. (these aren't double entendre's here>). He gave her something she really needed, and it wasn't the inert penis. It was unexpected, and not faked. She had a very tough job, and her home life seemed empty. True, most women take a while to get off. But not always. Plus this guy somehow made 3 women fall in love with him. There was obviously more to him than a useless body.

(my wife and I once climbed this quiet scenic tower. We started making out, and I stuck my hand down her pants. She came immediately! The next surprise was the family of tourists that suddenly appeared. Kinda took the glow off the moment...)

The previous week, he asked if her climax could be their goal for the next session. The question touched her but she stayed “professional” enough to ask “is that what you want?” To fake the result would have been a betrayal of trust, and sentimental female that I am, I think her climax was real and had everything to do with the emotional connection that had been established.

I think an important point of this film is that Care is not one-way, which is why he wanted assistants who could appreciate his wit and intellect. A basic human need is to feel needed and beneficial to others. And for Mark to feel that, Cheryl had to allow him to care for her.

I think this might have been previously mentioned; Apologies if it has...

I took that scene to mean that Cheryl may have had sex with lots of people, but not intercourse, per se. The way she's depicted in this movie, her child didn't respect her, her husband appeared to be very apathetic about everything in life, including being married to Cheryl. She wasn't feeling good about a lot in her life, and there may have been frustration building over time. But, when Mark actually 'needed' her (beyond sex), and was paying far more attention to her, I think that fulfilled a need, and made her climax.

But, then I'm also a man, so not an expert on the female orgasm. Just a opinion. Loved the movie BTW!!!

Self stimulation or she faked it?
