Worst Movie in Many Many Years!

My wife and I decided to go see this movie on a Friday night, after a long work week. We thought we could use some good laughs. Besides, with Robert DeNiro in it, it couldn't be bad, right? Wrong!!

The many many references to the pot head selling drugs to kids, only to have the cops laugh it off and let the guy go was disgusting. The pedophile joke was beyond disgusting and just wreaked of sleaziness. I could go on and on but I won't.

This movie was horrible from the opening scene and it only went downhill from there. The story line was shallow, the jokes were less than not funny and DeNiro really stooped to his low point in this "movie".

Save your money and watch The Smurfs! Much better!!

It was meant to be fratboy funny but for some reason people think it should be rated a 2 or 3 because of it. I would give it a 7 and watch it again once a year and still probably like it. I think it went to far in some places like you mentioned about the pedo scene but overall it didnt take the charm of the movie away from me.

However its not meant to take a girl to unless she gets that type of humor to begin with or can see its meant to be silly not demeaning.

It's a very-R rated comedy.

You have to know what you are getting into when you walk into that theatre.

Based on those expectations I thought the movie was funny and well done.

The moral of your point is, in the 1980s, if you watch a Michael Caine movie because it built him his house, would you?

It's a stupid funny movie. Get over it. Personally, I gave it an 8. I wasn't expecting Raging Bull here, but the excessive hate is a little much
