Nudity was so obnoxious it wasn't sexy

There comes a point where once you show the same actor or actress nude over and over in the same movie, it becomes less appealing and more dehumanizing. I am a woman and yes Zac Efron (spelling ?) is very attractive, but if it was necessary to show him nude, then one quick flash of his butt was all that was needed, but they kept showing it over and over again and dragged it out from the party to the motorcycle and then by the time we get to the beach it gets ridiculous. But then they show it more later after that sequence. It got to the point where I started feeling sorry for the actor, like he was getting dehumanized. In order to be sexy you have to leave stuff to the imagination. I don't think I like Efron anymore.

According to the trivia, ever nude scene except the one on the beach is Efron in the flesh (so to speak)

Not all nudity is supposed to be sexy and the idea that it should is kind of a problem in our society. Obviously Efron has got a ripped physique, seriously, dude's making me super insecure about my boy bod, but its all in service of being raunchy not sexy. It's not about teasing you and turning you on, it's about shoving it in your face to the point you want to look away because it's too much.

Ok, you decided that you don't like Efron any more because you believe that he decided to be nude in the movie, and what he was doing while naked? Pretty much 99.999% of the time, the director is telling the actors what to do.

Hey Gra05 & SnYDERIST,

I happen to agree with you both. This barnyard humor was not humorous; it was childish and boring. If one wants to be titillated by film, by all means, watch a porn film. They are generally more humorous and sexy than this piece of tripe. If you want to see De Niro in something with truly touching drama as well as subtle humor, watch him in "Bang the Drum Slowly" from 1973. There are no gratuitous sex scenes, but for those who get excited by titillating nudity, I think I remember a few bare backsides in the locker room scenes.

This is a love story about two men who play professional baseball, but the love story has nothing to do with sex. The two men form a special bond that brings them together in such a way that only love of one's fellow man can explain. As these two men learn more about each other, their relationship has a ripple effect on their teammates, and the side stories are well reflected with humor.

I know most folks would give 1973's "Bang the Drum Slowly" a quick pass in their rush to choose this infantile trash. That is sad commentary on society's tastes, but there it is, and even talented folks like De Niro will do anything for a dollar.
