Zzzzz
Watched it last night, or tried to. Allen knocking off his prerequisite movie-a-year film. Same old, same old, with women far more beautiful than the nerdy, nervous, unattractive men inexplicably (and silently) falling for them.
Sure, it's an unattractive man's wet dream, but it and his humour has grown so stale. Back in his iconic Annie Hall days (and earlier) it was fresh, and there were insights to be had. Not anymore. Even Paris at Midnight had something enjoyable about it. This, I watched half of, fell asleep, and have no desire to play it back and see how it ended, because I don't care. Don't care about any of the characters, or the plot.
