I tried watching this movie online since of course it was only in the theaters for about a week where I live when it came out and I didn't get to see it, but every online version I've found does not include subtitles for the many passages that are strictly in Italian. Does anyone know if this was intentional and the way the movie came out, and we basically have to just guess what's going on by the characters' actions, or am I just finding crappy versions of the movie online?

You can get the subtitle srt file online.

I ended up just getting the DVD from Redbox, which had the subtitles. I'm glad, too, because the Roberto Benigni story was probably my favorite out of all of them. This was definitely not great Woody, but I'll take good, whimsical Woody like this over many others' bests any day.

Good to know there were actually subtitles as I was having the same problem.
