Wooden acting
There are a lot of problems with this film, from the weak story lines to the tired attempts at humor. The worst part though has to be the acting. The Italian actors are good, the others are not. It feels like they're just doing a read through. It really takes you out of the movie.
It's really too bad because there's potential here, and Alec Baldwin (as the only exception to the stilted acting rule) is very good. Penelope Cruz definitely looks amazing and does the best with what she's got to work with also.
I just kept wondering how such accomplished actors could be so wooden.
