Rare sequel that is better than the original
Blade Runner was an 8/10. This was a 10/10.
shareNaw. I've only seen Blade Runner 2049 once and I may like it more with repeated viewing but, IMHO, it falls a long way short of Blade Runner.

Absolutely better than the original. I like the original, but never loved it. I was completely and totally engrossed in this movie. It's gorgeous to look at and it was a great mystery. Action packed too. Dave Bautista, Leto, the rogue replicants, Gosling - it's very well-acted.

shareI give the sequel 6 out 10 stars. It didn't need the Deckard and Rachel story but Vanillajuevo is kinda devoid of original thought so he copped out with lazy send up.

The film was a masterpiece in a period where Hollywood hacks were throwing remakes at our faces and failing miserably.

I don't know if it was better than the original, but it's definitely one of the best sequels ever made.
