Duplicate DNA

Help me understand how copying Ana's DNA does anything but draw attention to her. K wouldn't even have come close to figuring out the child's identity had they just faked her death.

Also, is Ana now dead on paper? Is that why she lives in a bubble, so no one would check her ID?

It doesn't draw attention to her, it drew attention to Him. That was the point. K/Joe was the decoy all along, and whatever outcome came of his investigation (whether he was killed or brought in, etc.,) he was going to be the fall guy for whoever went digging deep enough, which is exactly what happened.
