1. What are there the huge broken statues of naked women in the desert? Are we meant to know why they're there or what they symbolize?
2. One moment K is looking at a 20-metre Joi hologram, and then in the next shot he's attacking the 3-car convoy to rescue Deckard. How the hell did he find them?
3. Where does the big fight between K and Luv take place? I thought they came down on a big landing deck on top of a building. Where is all the water coming from?
1. Las Vegas. Sin City. Decadence. Go big or go home. Legalized prostitution, which looks legal everywhere by 2049.
2. The underground Nexus 8s are clearly well organized and provided him an armed spinner (his was destroyed in LV) and helped him find the convoy
3. On the edge "lip" of the seawall, which protects southern California from climate change-induced storm surges. K is seen flying over or next to the seawall earlier in the movie. Once he destroyed the protecting spinners enroute to the spaceport Luv commands the pilot to turn back since they are "too low" to arrive safely (which is presumably protected and any spinners coming in while actively fighting would be shot down, including K., this is pure speculation on my part). Actually, it is possible Luv's spinner was damaged, and I know the "co-pilot" was killed early in the exchange, so perhaps landing on the seawall was necessary. K clearly had "the drop" on them.
It is that exact scene narrated by the director. Batty67 has it spot on.
