I would like to see either a poster, photo or even a teaser before the end of the year! I know it's still a while before this opens and they literally just finished shooting... However, I'm just so looking forward to this! It's got all the ingredients to become next-level I just want to see something of it lol

I'm with you on wanting something before the years end, however I doubt we'll get anything. Usually teaser trailers for October releases range from May to as late as August. That being said even May would be pushing it. Then again this film could be the rare exception that gets a ton of promotion nearly a year in advance, I just doubt it though.

Alien: Covenant was moved up from August 2017 to May, another Scott property. So we could see a trailer tease for Blade Runner with that movie.
Oh no doubt they'll attach a trailer for this to Alien Covenant! Hope it's not the first footage we'll get tho lol

I agree with those saying that the first trailer could be attached to Alien Covenant on May. But given that they already released a BTS picture (well, not proper BTS, it's just Scott, Gosling; Villeneuve and Ford chatting) I think that we could expect a poster, character's pictures and behind the scenes released gradually starting January. They have to built momentum because younger audiences are not really familiar with the original.
