A guess on why they may reveal Dekard as a replicant

Ok so here is the plot synopsis "Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years."

My guess, that "long-buried secret" is that there are waayyy more "Rachels" out there and many still dont know they are replicants, with no signs and age just like everyone else. And I'm betting some made there way into very high positions, like government, military etc. Dekard's been hiding after he confirms to himself that he is a replicant (Rachael version), and fears a new generation of Blade runners may come after him and the many others, but of course Gosling will need his help. And Ill bet Leto is some kind of leader of a new group of replicants that have found out their true identity
