Remember how harrison played deckard? He played the role with little enthusiasm and perhaps a hint of laziness. But it came off as being real because of the role he was playing and the characters life situation, an apparent apathy to what is going on around him. He didn't want anything to do with hunting replicants anymore till he got dragged back into the mess.
