Should've kept Ford out of it.
I had a total confidence in Dennis making a completely original movie. Gosling totally fits the mood, he seemed to be directed by NWR which is cool. Ford feels like a Star Wars cheap gimmick.

shareExactly, I'm sure it's the producers who imposed Han Solo in this sequel because Indiana Jones = money. I personaly can't stand the sight of him since he destroyed Indiana Jones and Star Wars in a row
shareI thought that was George Lucas.
Conquer your fear, and I promise you, you will conquer death.
I don't know, it was pretty cool to hear Deckard again. Depending on how the film turns out, right now I have to say that Ford's involvement is one of the big reasons I'd like to see this (not totally sold on Gosling).
You want something corny? You got it!
For me it depends on why it's so important Gosling finds Ford, what did Gosling discover that was so wild that it could shake the foundations of society. If he serves a plot purpose i' all in. In Star Wars though he was mostly there just to shoe horn in nostalgia, an excuse to bring in the iconic falcon, etc. And as a plot device to give Ren some kind of emotional development through his death.
