Overly white cast.
Seems like they could have followed the lead of the true innovators of Star Wars and cast with a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-gender, multi-gender identifying, non-gender, non cis-gender, a sexual cast. Thoughts?

How many people seriously go around picking one of each race over the quality of their particular acting, or the necessities of the role. It's racist and sexist to say, well, we need a black, an asian, an Indian, and a strong fierce independent fierce strong fierce strong extra fierce woman.

share@enterlexx, but where are the representatives of the Native American tribes? And, the Inuits, the Vietnamese, the Pakistani's, the Mongolians? No, it's mostly just White. So 20th Century. Can't seem to keep up with the progressive agenda, and would rather be stuck in the 1800's.

The scenario you described is EXACTLY what is going on these days thanks to the PC police. Sad times. Look at how Disney had to make sure to cast a female lead in both of the new Star Wars films. No problem with female leads, but it's so obvious it was forced.
shareUh, it is rather out of touch with how the future has almost universally trended towards being MORE multicultural than the present. Even Blade Runner was a mishmash of various cultures in 2019 L.A.
The only question is whether the principle cast will be comprised of people from various ethnic backgrounds including those outside of Caucasian/white.

shareHonestly, some people won't be happy until there aren't any white people in any movie. This whole discussion is ridiculous. The ironic thing is, it's the people that call everyone else racists that are the ones who LOOK for race in Everything.
