Which cut will this be a sequel to?

I know with almost all movies/franchises, the offical cut is the theatrical, and thats what sequels follow, however, with Blade Runner 2049, will it be following the "Final Cut"?

Ive never seen any cut of Blade Runner, so no spoilers please

There isn't really any storyline differences between the cuts, so the sequel will apply to any cut.

Just kidding, but you do need to watch it asap. Might as well make it Ridley's "preferred version", The Final Cut.

There will be 7 different versions of this film, each a sequel to the 7 different versions of Blade Runner.

Since Ridley Scott is Executive Producing this sequel I am pretty sure it will follow the Final Cut.
