That would be quite an unoriginal twist. Therefore, it won't be suggested he may be a replicant.

The fact that Gosling is a new blade runner already suggests it. If 'Project Deckard' is seen as successful, they certainly might follow the same course. Given the state of technology in 2019, anyone can be a replicant in 2049. It's a thought they certainly going to play with, IMO. Maybe the movie will provide hints - tricking the audience they are on to something - only to conclude that he's very human.
