This show is unwatchable now

Who is this show for now? Why do they think anyone would want to root for that disgusting pig Underwood? He is the most obnoxious fictional character ever to be on tv, with his continual lying, cheating, ruining people's lives for his own gain, smug breaking the fourth wall diatribes, ridiculous Scarlett O'Hara accent, etc. We're not watching him, we're trying to stomach him until we get to the next scene.

Do they think we enjoy watching his girlish chief of staff get away with murdering women? Do they think we're interested in seeing Claire and her hipster boyfriend endlessly, where the biggest tension is how his douchebag hairstyle stays continually coiffed? This show has no one to root for and the only theme is that the Underwoods screw everyone over and always win. There's literally no theme or momentum. His downfall should have started two seasons ago, and yet it just goes on and on and gets more and more ridiculous. Sometimes a disgusting villain can be entertaining, like the Joker or whatever. But having him as the lead of the show and rubbing it in the audiences faces, when they want escapism from the outside world, is asinine.
