Its not even a competition. They actually have superheroes on their show and it deals with them every episode.

Who cares that the cg and the costumes both look like they leftovers from the set of Back to the Future 2 and the writing and directing were barely on par with internet fan films? It has superheroes in it somewhere so it wins! Oh, you kids these days...

Well, Agents of Shield now has 2 superheroes (both of whom were members of the Avengers at one time in the comics) as main cast members (Mockingbird http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mockingbird_(Marvel_Comics) and Quake http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daisy_Johnson).

One is a fluffy black and white show where the goddies and the baddies rely on dumb luck and no one ever dies.

The other one has a guy who eats people... and make philosophical remarks.

obvious troll is obvious. i like both shows but no, POWERS is not better than AoS. also Nipsey tends to troll IMDB so it's impossible to tell when he/she is being serious or not.

No, AoS can be awesome... when it wants to. However it's so tied up with other prductions that it has to geek out for half a season, because this or that hasn't come out yet. Also it keeps veering between visceral and goofy and can't seem to make up its mind. Powers definately knows it is.

That's what I think. Powers does a fine job for a low budget superhero show and they're doing it in their own universe. I'm enjoying the world and the story... but it's not better than Agents of Shield. To many people think something can't be good unless it's better than something else.

agreed - it should be judged separately, as a low-budget show (though schitt's creek must be low budget as heck and that is brilliant and funny). i am enjoying powers as a guilty pleasure (like the shannara chronicles) but even for a low budget production, they could improve the writing, and yeah, sidekick detective's acting is pretty terrible. they could write her less cliche and that MIGHT help. but her dad's a cliche and he's a pleasure to watch.

as far as talent season 1 vs season 2, yeah, sad to lose two of our most fun/evil-sh powers, but Enrico Colantoni is a great addition - so glad they poached him from Person of Interest and also, how did they GET this guy? he's awesome, beyond awesome! i also enjoyed the singing in the rain scene with heavy, immediately after demolishing a building. very joker-esque. also, how in the world did they get tricia helfer? these two must have a real sense of humor in real life to play their respective roles.

Season 1 looked cheap with some very poor sfxs but so far season 2 has been better in every way ...is it better than AOS hummm in some ways maybe but in others no,really their not that alike so comparing them is hard ,lets just say their both worth watching...
