Powers Cancelled After Season 2

Sony has cancelled Powers after two seasons. Bendis hopes that the show will continue somewhere else.

I enjoyed it and would have liked to know what was going to happen to Walker next.

If he's hoping for it to continue somewhere else, he best be pushing other networks. Netflix, Amazon, HBO, starz, just to name a few. Regular network tv wouldn't go for it plus it would just sour the show.

I also would like to also atleast get one more season to finalize the story since Sony is to lazy to do so.

Sucks! It left a big cliffhanger at the end

In the comic book...
Walker got recruited by an homage to the Green Lantern Corp, giving him new powers.

It's probably safe to assume that's who was talking at the end.

After Supershock's rampage, which was a lot worse in the comics*, all Powers-related crimes became federal crimes, leading to Walker and Pilgrim (or Enki Sunrise; I don't remember who his partner was at the time) and the rest of Powers Division becoming federal agents.

Walker was eventually fired by the "Green Lantern Corp" after several reprimands, because he was only supposed to use his powers to deal with cosmic threats, and he kept using them to save people on Earth from mundane crises.

*Comic Supershock's rampage wasn't hunting for a delusional nemesis. His dementia caused him to destroy anyone he perceived as immoral. For example, his retired former teammate was killed over a leaked sex tape that involved an underage prostitute (a direct parody of the R. Kelly situation), and he vaporized Vatican City because of child abusing priests.

If I was Bendis, I'd definitely shop it around. This is a super hero show that's already got an established group of characters, a comic fan base, and interesting ideas. I'd take it to Netflix, Starz, or Amazon. Starz would be perfect, because they could up the adult themes, and increase viewership, bringing in a whole new viewer base.
