No more need for credit cards to cheat, so spend $1000+ a month splitting a mortgage?

I didn't understand this at the beginning. Vince is trying to sell them into buying into this loft saying they wouldn't have to worry about hotel bills on their credit cards anymore. But, chipping in five ways to a luxury apartment which looks about a million dollars wouldn't raise any suspicion, especially if the wives are somewhat attentive to the monthly costs, is preferable? Why not just pay for the hotel with cash? And seriously just how often were these guys hoping to cheat on their wives? If they were planning on using it all the time maybe they should just get a divorce in the first place, right?
