I may be forgetting something but I remember Liz having been tortured pretty bad and should have scars on her back. Would David Rosen have asked about this? Or did he already know she was tortured by Pope's thugs?

She either had a miraculous healing or she found the best plastic surgeon on the planet. There was an episode where she wore a dress with the back out and she had no scars. If David had seen them I'm sure he would have asked but they seemed to disappear.
