Joshua Malina's history with Vice Presidents

When Joshua Malina played Will Bailey on The West Wing he worked on Vice President Bob Russell’s unsuccessful bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
As David Rosen in Scandal, he dates and eventually got engaged to Vice President Susan Ross who was seeking the Republican presidential nomination.
However Susan’s bid for the Republican nomination ended as well as the engagement when it was revealed that David had dropped an investigation in return for getting Susan, Florida Governor Baker’s endorsement ahead of that state’s primary.
In the season 5 finale That’s My Girl, Cyrus offers David the vice presidency on Frankie Vargas’ ticket only for that offer to be withdrawn.
So the lesson here is that for any Vice President seeking their party’s presidential nomination they should stay away from Malina plus Malina does not have any luck getting the vice presidency for himself.

Lol. They made David to be such a loser in season 5. When Cyrus offered him VP I knew that was a joke and I felt sorry for David when he took it seriously. I agree stay away. His character seems to be a bad luck magnet anyway.
