Just what happened to Alex? I'm wondering why he wasn't at his brothers funeral. Even though they had a falling out, he should have been there. Does his absence have something to do with Frankie's death? He knew about Cyrus 's king making plan. Last ep the video of Frankie and Cyrus arguing, did Alex convince Frankie that Cyrus is indeed the devil?
Is that why Frankie is dead? Did Cyrus kill Alex, did Tom kill Frankie?

Yes, Cyrus framed Alex for posting pics of Frankie's daughter, who is dying from cancer, Cyrus actually did this against Frankie's wishes.and blamed it on Alex. Frankie fired Alex because of this.
After being fired Alex got suspicious of Cyrus and followed him to a hotel where he saw him meet Tom, whom he saw in a video of the capital shooting, putting two and two together.

I've added Alex Vargasas oneof my top suspects for the assassination of Frankie Vargas. We saw his picture on the computer when Huck was able to retrieve the video log from Jenny's laptop which they stole from the cabin explosion crime scene. I think the writers just allowed his photo to be shown as a sign of where this story is headed. And I found it strange that he did not attend his brother's funeral. Guilt conscience perhaps?
I see in the promo for the next episode that Tom will make an appearance...

@my: OMGN! I know I was wondering the same thing. Because it has been awhile since we have seen him. And despite what happened to him and his brother, he should have been at this funeral.
Hmmm..... VERY strange.
And your theory as to what happened to him, sounds good and you might be right.
It's probably that the actor who plays Alex Vargas (Danny Pino) was unavailable to film.
