Please Be Honest

I want to see this movie because of the high praise BUT I'm sorry I dont want to go into a mundane, long drawn drama. Before you tell me to sod off and watch Avengers, let me say I do enjoy foreign films and indies. BUT I dont want to waste my time on something that will put me to sleep in a half hour. Anyhow curious

it is one of my all-time favorite films. it takes a while before the real story gets started, but once it does it is riveting until the finish.

Where I live it is 4:15 a.m. I just finished it while working a graveyard shift. I usually watch action movies during these shifts to keep me awake.

This one did not put me to sleep. It was brilliantly written and the acting in incredible.

Doesn't it give you a headache asking stupid questions?

what job do you do? I want to apply :-)

It's not long drawn, in fact, it's very gripping and more engaging than most films out right now. The writing and tenderly directed performances will have you hooked five minutes into the film.

I watched it midnight on a weekday, I also thought i'd be sleeping in 15 mins. My wife was already trying to sleep that time. 15 mins into the movie my wife took a peek of the movie and I had to start it over for her. Obviously we finished the film both of us.

Great thank you I will rent it

I pick my brother up every week (he can't drive) and we watch old TV shows with a group of my friends (currently we're doing Star Trek: TOS after starting with Buffy eight years ago). He often falls asleep during these viewings.

Last night he was angry when I reminded him that we were seeing this movie, which he proclaimed to have no interest in, instead of ST:TOS. I reminded him that I know his taste quite well and assured him he would think it was great.

He was completely riveted. He proclaimed it "obviously great" when we were interrupted by a phone call at a point in the movie where the real story hadn't really started yet (I told him "they're still setting the stage").

This is a movie full of intense drama, containing multiple revelations that make audiences gasp aloud. It has actually been compared to Hitchcock, although I think the Sidney Lumet of 12 Angry Men is a better comparison. If you have a brain, you will not be bored.
