I watched this movie and I got to say it was a good drama but there was something that distracted me and in some way annoyed me...
Why are they driving only Peugeot in this movie? Is this happening in real life too? I mean only Peugeot everywhere you look? Did they had an agreement or something with Peugeot?

This was meant to augment the realism.
In real life people generally only drive Peugeot.

well not that they only drive Peugeot, but Peugeot is a common car in Iran.

its strange to hear that the brand of the cars they used in the film distracted you throughout the film.

Iranian people mostly drive Peugeot. That's how much they love Columbo.

some of Peugeot products are made and exported by iran , so yes they are very common .

in fact iranians almost only use iranian made cars (they kinda have to , importing other cars would be very expensive ).

about 90% cars in the street are peguet , samand , pride
