Leila Hatami, the most beautiful woman on the red carpet of 84th Oscar

Seriously... A classic and natural beauty. I think she's the most beautiful actress in the world.

I cant remember any hollywood actress nowadays who's on par in term of beauty with this lady.

I thought she was beautiful in the movie (as was the other woman/mother imo) but I never saw any pics of her on the red carpet. Any links?

You or the movie?

She is 39, almost 40 and she looks very good for her age. How will she look if took of the scarf and dressed glamorously?

reply

She is very beautiful, to be sure. I was fascinated by her the entire film.

reply

when i saw her in the movie for the first time, it reminded me of Ingrid Bergman

reply

Aha! I'm not the only one :D. When I saw her, I was thinking, wow this lady has a classic beauty like Ingrid Bergman or Isabella Roselini.

I always think that Isabella Roselini is the most beautiful Lancome model. Lancome should consider Leila Hatami, if her govt let her to become a model for french cosmetics.

reply

yes yes, exactly she look like ingrid Bergma....

reply

she speaks 4 languages, by the way..

his father was a popular director
in iranian cinema i think have better or similar actress in perform or beautifully,

reply

I disagree: while she is undeniably beautiful and classy (reminds me of Isabella Rossellini or even Julianne Moore at times) she looked like the Virgin Mary with that dress at the Academy Awards. Not the right choice of wardrobe in my opinion.

And yes, she's very talented and speaks Farsi, French, English and German. I was in Iran last November and she was starring in yet another film that was being shows at theatres at the time.

AFAIK, for women to wear white is actually very formal in Persian (and probably also Muslim) culture, while wearing black is 'everyday'. So Leila Hatami chose the right dress for the occasion.

I didn't like the way she looked on Oscar Night, but check her out a few nights before at the Sony Oscar Dinner www.zimbio.com/pictures/E1_B0Fqc8wx/Sony+Pictures+Classics+2012+Oscar+Dinner+Arrivals/gH8VKOkCXDo/Leila+Hatami

One thing does confuse me though, her dress is quite sheer yet she has her head covered.

Jan 25, 2011 the day it all started. Walk like an Egyptian or just protest like one!
