How do Iralian women dress at home?

I know that Muslim women are not allowed to show their hair in public, so they have to wear a head scarf. But I was under the impression that they are not required to wear it at home, in front of their husbands and fathers. But in this film, the wife and the daughter don't even remove their scarf at home. In fact, they seem to have exactly the same long dress on at home as well as outside. Why is this so? Are women not allowed to show their hair (and other body parts) even to their intimate family?

Or is there another reason? I thought, perhaps the female actors simply could not show their hair to the film crew and film viewers, although they would actually do it, if they were at home with their family. Could this be the reason?

Women are allowed to show be without Hijab in front of 'Mahram's (Which includes: Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Father-in-law,...)... if you have saw other Iranian movies you will see that actresses always appear in Hijab like even in bed. but in this movie the director actually thought about this issue. whenever there is woman in a scene there is a man who is not Mahram or the woman is leaving the home or just arrived. (Except for Termeh the daughter she even has Hijab in front of the father) But no actress wants to get arrested for being unveiled!

Thanks for that explanation. So, the actresses simply had to wear the Hijab, even though in real life a woman would not wear Hijab in some of these situations. Interesting. In a way it diminishes the value of the film, because this film is supposed to give us an in depth, realistic view of social relationships in Iran. And yet, there are some details in the film that are obviously out of touch with reality. It's good that the filmmakers tried to "explain" the wearing of Hijab in most scenes (the woman had just come from outside, there was a guest in the house, etc.), but still there were scenes that were unrealistic in that regard.

If you noticed, Even for the little girl, she wears it loosely and usually when she just arrived home or just about to depart from it. Even when she was studying with her father, they were studying near to the window which could expose her to the outside people.

But, in real life, of course, the girl could wear anything in front of her family (Not to be too "slutty" though)

I understand that there is a director from Iran who doesn't like to work with women for this very reason. He can't show them the way they would look at home due to the Iranian dress laws. So you have women in movies at home, all covered up, which isn't realistic.
