I can’t remember the last time Zemeckis made a good film

He gets extra points for getting the hot Nadine Velazquez to perform fully nude in Flight but nothing else about that movie was watchable.

This movie doesn’t fill me with hope.

WTF happened to this guy?

I'm not sure why you found Flight to be unwatchable. It was a pretty good film.

I also enjoyed Allied and The Walk wasn't bad either.

I will agree that it's been a long time since he has made a GREAT film but certainly he has made some GOOD ones within the last couple of decades.

He got crushed to death by the 21st century. Happens to the best of em. He got so carried away with what computers can do he forgot how to be an artist first.

Basically this. I thought Flight and Allied were both decent. But yeah, he caught the CGI bug pretty early on and never quite recovered.

His CGI films are the worst.

I thought his rendition of A Christmas Carol was pretty good for an animated take on the story. I also saw Beowulf and remember thinking it was interesting, though I only saw it once and don't recall the details.
