Jaipur Aviv - great episode

Man, people are really not interested in the show this season. This board is pretty dead.

I thought this week's episode was really strong. The episode definitely plays better than all the plot description and the spoilers made it out to be. Great ensemble work. Much better balance of humor and heart than the last few episodes. It was just classic New Girl. I think it's been a while since the writers have let all the characters interact in the A-story like this and it was really refreshing.

I hope there are more episodes like this for the rest of the season. I'm a little worried about adding Reagan back in and throwing off the balance again like what happened with Coach in S3. As long as they don't dumb Nick down again I'll be pretty happy. It was the good version of Nick in this episode anyway. I'm actually interested to see the Nick/Reagan relationship now after this episode.

It was okay. Last week's episode was much better.

Is it because you're not a fan of Nick/Jess? I get it if you aren't. That pairing does seem to polarize fans. The writers keep going back to that well so it doesn't feel as organic as it used to, especially since they barely interacted for about two seasons.

I didn't really like last week's episode ("Single and Sufficient"). Not really into how the writers are trying to make Jess/Robby a thing. Feels too much like a rehash of Jess/Genzlinger from S1. I wish they really let Jess be single for a while, but the writers don't seem capable of writing her that way.
