I really got into New Girl about 6 months ago, and was excited to see Jess and Nick happen this season, it's last (from the way people spoke of it). But if it isn't happening...I'm not really interested in watching anymore. It's time for it to end. Anyone know?
shareNo confirmation on season renewal yet, but it does feel like a series finale season. Ratings haven't been great so the show is still on the bubble currently. Pretty sure Nick/Jess has to happen this season (even if there is an S7), but the writers always hold off on major plot developments until the second half of the season just based on past seasons. The writers have said that Reagan is supposed to be the catalyst to push Nick and Jess back together, but we'll see if that actually pans out. The writers say a lot of things that aren't quite accurate in interviews.
We're about at the halfway point of the season so things should start kicking off between Nick and Jess in a few episodes. Hang in there :)
I think this is it, the last two seasons suck and now I think they were just passing to syndication, and with season five ending the writing is only gonna get worse,they be done either this season or next season.
