Megan Fox in Christmas episode.

I just finished watching the Christmas episode, and for the life of me, I was so sure that Megan Fox had never actually been on set with the main cast at any point. Then in the last minute, she suddenly came over and hugged Nick and was seen dancing with the gang at the end.

Did anyone else get this impression at first though? I mean if she was really there, I'm wondering why they framed her completely separate from everyone else until the very end.

Weird.

She was barely in the episode, which was okay by me, but it was weird how much they emphasized her character in the promos. I did think they spliced together two different scenes in the promo but it was exactly how it was in the episode which did feel weird since MF and the rest of the cast didn't seem to share that many shots together.

The Nick/Reagan relationship is still really weird. None of them stand to greet her when she shows up at the loft? I know they all knew she was going to be there, but that seemed kind of rude. Nick didn't actually seem that excited to see her when she showed up, despite what he said to Jess.

Nick and Reagan still don't feel like a genuine couple to me. You have Nick being way too into her like he was into Jess but not enough scenes of them actually together to support it. I guess they'll be getting into all of that in January but MF is only supposed to be in 8 episodes max (counting tonight's episode) so it's really ambitious for them to try and establish that over 7 episodes.

I thought it was odd too. There was such a build up for them, but then no real story line between them.
