That said, it was a good episode regardless of the Robby nonsense. This very same episode would have been great as New Girl's Season 6 season finale episode but New Girl isn't a 10-episode season series.

A season finale without the main character resolving her romance storyline? Nah, not really. It was a typical mid-season finale.

The show has become so 'ehh' that it's hard to root for anyone at this point.
