Thoughts on the teaser trailer?

I've been really looking forward to Black Panther, even before his supporting role appearances in the MCU. I enjoyed the teaser, the look, and the music choice. That said, I've seen some great trailers that didn't pan out, but I'll be cautiously happy. Any thoughts from someone who's read more of the comic itself?

I can't say I'm very familiar with the comics myself, but as a fan of the MCU, I can say with total certainty there's no need to worry about this movie not turning out as good as it trailer suggests. I say that because what Marvel has been doing with their movies and shows is truly commendable. No, not everything they've made has been a - critical - winner for them, but they do have enough great movies that have proven their characters can be given total justice. With Black Panther, they're going for something rather different, something that NEEDS to make an impression. So with that said, I'm optimistic about the movie. You can never be sure, but I bet the trailer is only a snippet of something greater.

As a person who does read the comics I too have been waiting for this since Phase One.

So far the teaser seems spot on especially with the look of Wakanda's blend of African culture with cutting edge technology.

While this will definitely be the MCU's biggest challenge to date I don't think there is much to be worried about. The cast and director is like a dream team and production seemed to go off without a hitch.
