It is a near masterpiece. The third act isn't as strong as the first two, but still good. And I do like the final shot of Jason riding away, I thought it was quite emotional. Derek Cianfrance is a unique director, I really dig his movies.

Great movie with excellent performances

Awesome acting that often seems improvised, in a very good way. The 4 main actors all do a great job. So dd Ben Mendelhson. Each individual segment is compelling. Obviously, it's gonna be difficult for two young actors to match Gosling as a bank robber and Cooper as a scheming whistleblowing cop, but the final segment is essential for tying the whole story together. And Emory Cohen really shined as the entitled druggie thug character. He is totally convincing
