Anyone notice when Romina and Luke...

Are talking on the bed in his mini RV and he asks about ice cream and theyre joking around...

And Luke says I want to be there to see his face when he eats ice cream, and Romina turns to the side and is suddenly shaken by his comment and breaks down in tears?

Ive seen this movie five times or so and just recognized it. Her reaction almost doesnt seem like it was part of the script. It came out of nowhere and the camera wasnt focused on it.

My point is, it feels like a genuine reaction on screen by Eva Mendes. Thoughts?

That's the reason I came to this board..to see if anyone else picked up on that...I too wondered where that emotion came from....

Just looked around online...gosling and mendes are married with 2 kids..started dating during this movie..also her father had recently passed away while filming...so maybe it was just raw emotion during this scene...

Yeah I knew they got together through this movie but had no idea about her father. I definitely think it could've been a mix of the two. That was sudden raw emotion that came out considering the scene imo. Thanks for the help!

Funny how Ryan is one of the few actors that actually takes commitment seriously. The guy is a Canadian; however, you look at other actors and they all ready have had quite a few relationships under their belt. You would think, from the movie, Ryan would be a "bad boy" even in real life; however, it is insane how he has only held down one marriage.

Props to him!
