schenectady cops are strict
1) the wrench attack got the guy locked up? maybe a misdemeanor.
2) when those kids are buying drugs: they were going to call that a felony?

It's not just schenectody cops. It's New York cops , and most cops all over the USA. An attack with a wrench is a felony assault charge anywhere you go, and you would be arrested with a bunch of Excstacy pills anywhere in the world pretty much. I don't see how that makes them any more tougher. The boys got off easy because of who AJs father was anyway. Nothing out of the ordinary on those charges...

Also buying Exctasy is a schedule 1 narcotic along with heroin, cocaine, methanphetomine etc.... Those are all felony possession drugs if found on you, and it gets worse if you go into the fact they were in baggies for distribution along with other things, but again that was how any PD would charge someone for both crimes.
