I wish there was an alternate ending where he killed Avery and AJ and then got away with it by making it look like a murder/suicide.

Why? Avery was not a loser. AJ was a dumb kid being dumb for reasons I don't know. Jason's dad got what he deserved. I have no sympathy for him. His stupid mother should have told him the truth that his dad died because he was being a scum bag criminal. Avery did not ruin Jason's life. His father ruined because of his bad choice. The only one to blame is Luke. Get a job, don't rob banks.

Yes but I dont think the kid could have masterminded such a feat. He was not the talented Mr. Ripley. I know you did say, "should have" being your key words, I follow you!
