Not your normal vegan doc
Using humor and admitting it's tough, but here's why it's possible, this documentary was a complete success. What I liked was that it made these vegan wannabees normal people. They weren't perfect bodies already, who jogged ten miles, then decided to give up their treat foods. Nor was it people who had near death experiences, due to clogged arteries. These were relatively healthy people, who took a challenge.
I've recently changed my diet to vegetarian, for moral reasons and I'm realizing, I can't really feel good about myself, until I go 100%. My problem is, I don't do all the shopping and the person who does most of it, will not have the patience for this. Meaning I might go a week or two without vegan this or that. I've managed so far and this and other films have convinced me it's time to go full vegan. I have cut out milk 99%, but eggs, butter and cheese have actually increased. I need to do it. Just need to look at it with the ease and humor that this film showed.
