Why didn't Ken Watanabe play Watanabe?

Missed opportunity.

Probably because he's too old for the character. He's about twice the age The Bird was.

Too old. Besides, Miyavi was quite good in the role, easily one of the strongest villains of the 2014 film year.

Instead of fighting on IMDB, why not support DC, Marvel, AND Fox and hope ALL their flicks are good?

Heck with Ken, they should have gotten Gedde Watanabe. Now that would have been an opportunity. 
