That awkward moment where i trash this film (spoiler/review)

Zac efron plays an unable to commit playboy in his mid-late 20s. In other words, his normal role. Teller is a co-worker who is a commitmentphobe, even though he seems to have something going with a girl the whole movie. Jordan is about ready to divorce, his wife was two-timing him.

Basically, these guys are written more like female characters. Almost no talk at all about sports, just about women and their man parts. They must keep Starbucks in business themselves, every time you see them they are drinking a cup of coffee, except when they were getting *beep* which seemed like a frequent thing. There was a running gag about Teller taking a dump at Efrons apartment, which was way overdone and not funny. Jordan's character was completely out of place. First of all, he didn't work with the other 2, he was married and in the medical field. I have a hard time seeing this trio hanging out. They were college friends and Jordan is in a completely different profession and different stage of his personal life. Throw in a huge city like New York, it would be easy to see him drift away from these 2 guys.

Supposedly they make a pact (lol no really) like its high school, to stay single until Jordan is over his wife. The ending is pretty boring and predictable, like the rest of the film.

I really thought this was going to be more raunchy and then it settle down, but it was pretty much a chick flick from the get-go. Only go see it if you want to fall asleep.

Final Grade D
