I think statistically, black men usually marry black women. This character seemed like the type of guy who would like a "strong black woman". He seems like that type. Thankfully, the girl he hooked up with later on seemed to be of a different race, so at least they mixed it up somewhat.

By the hammer of Thor!
We don't know if they hooked up because we don't see a date and he doesn't talk about "Glasses Girl" when he's talking to his friend's at the end.

share...and it could make people think that a black person will only date another black person (i am black by the way) i would like to see these movies mixing up a little you know...no hate, just wanna see something original, i watch a lot of french movies and they do that so naturally, but even here in Brazil we have that kind of problem...

I think the problem here is that there is only one black character in the movie, so they had a 50-50 choice: white or black. This is a comedy, not social drama, so they went with black-on-black as the least problematic. If there were multiple black guys, they probably would have hooked up at least one of them with a white chick.

Jessica Lucas(his wife or whatever) is half black(and freaking gorgeous) and the other girl with the glasses didn't look black at all
Its a weird thing because most black guys that have predominantly white friends end up with non black girlfriends but in these movies and tv shows they go out and find a black girl to throw into the mix(which in many cases wouldn't happen in real life)
