I should have known better when I saw his name as the director of this movie. The man has never directed a decent movie.
But I went ahead and watched it anyway because I like Jake Gyllenhaal. Though his performance was over the top, he deserves kudos for the training regimen he went through to get into such fantastic shape.

The Replacement killers, Training day, Tears of the sun, Brooklyn's finest, The Equalizer (1&2) and this. The magnificient seven, while had a great cast was meh, because nothing tops Kurosawa's original masterpiece
I've seen Training day, Tears of the sun, and Brooklyn's finest and thought they were all over-the-top crap from Fuqua.
Apparently, We have different tastes in movies. And I still stand by original criticism.
