I feel like is a stupid question as this is one of my fave movies and have seen it SO many times but I'm still lost on what Tick's character meant about his fighting style. He said something about 'fighting to kill'. What does that mean? You obviously can't kill the other guy!

shareHe meants that he fights recklessly and irrationally. Also you actually can kill people in boxing and get away with it. One of the greatest fighters of all time in Sugar Ray Robinson killed a man in the ring and Ray "Boom" "Boom" Mancini killed a man once.
