I don't know if it's been brought up before, but do you think this may be a prequel? If Willie has reformed, I don't think it will be as funny. I could be wrong though. Any thoughts?

Thats a good idea however I don't know how they could end it with the typical happy xmas ending as, according to the elf, he was worse than ever in the first movie. Also he is much older now (but then again thats not too important these days as with xmen and wolverine). Its an interesting idea, im looking forward to a trailer!
