I'm excited.. But some things obviously don't make sense

First obvious one is that Markus gets arrested after trying to murder Willie. But he jumps back into business with him.. Fine, I'm sure that'll be explained.

But the big one is the whole development. It gets to the point at the end of the first movie that he feels like he needs to get it together in a way. He realizes what he's doing is wrong and starts to realize it at the end. Why the sudden change of heart?

one thing is for sure, I'm excited for Brett Kelly to be back in the film.

We'll see, I'm Hoping the story will capture at least half of the spirit that the first one had. I have a lot of confidence in Billy Bob's talent to pull this off, but I really hope the movie doesn't feel forced. Marcus and Willy will hopefully have enough of their old magic to keep this movie in a groove. I'm just really hoping we don't get a sad, difficult to watch sequel (D&D2).

I second the motion. There's got to be the old magic of Billy Bob Thornton and Marcus to pull this off. It's been TOO long since the original and the risk of failure is that much higher. Some naysayers think the sequel is all about money but I disagree. If it was only the money, the sequel would have been made within three years after the original.

I think the less they explain about Willie and Marcus still working together, the better. After ALL THAT from the first one, they STILL work together. Ridiculous enough to be funny.

And of course Willie has to be the same Willie from the first one. Otherwise, it's just a movie about some guy. If he's not a drunken low life, what's the point of it even being a comedy?
