Who should play Willie's father

We already know that Willie's mother will appear in the movie, played by Kathy Bates. But will Willie's father appear and if so, who should play him. Bates is 67. So her husband will probably be around the same age. My choice is Bill Murray. He is 65. If you want to go a little older. Jack Nicholson would be a good choice. But I believe he has retired. Both Murray and Nicholson were considered for the role of Willie in the first movie so it would fit if one of them would play his father. Let me know if you have any suggestions on who could play father.

I always thought Billy Bob didn't look haggard enough in Bad Santa, given Willie's lifestyle. However, if I were to think of someone that looked like a very haggard version o Billy Bob Thornton I'd definitely go for Tommy Lee Jones. He'd be a very interesting choice in a comedy. Has he done comedy?

Speaking of Willies..What about Willie Nelson as a granpa?

It would have to be someone who you could picture burning a child with cigarettes and punching them in the back of the head... My vote goes for a haggard jack Nicholson. That would be amazing.

Yes. Space Cowboys and the Men in Black trilogy being his most famous comedies.

Tommy Lee Jones would be a good choice given his Southern drawl, wiseass remarks and dry humor. Just add some white trash, vulgar redneck along with a little " Mama Bouchier" to Kathy Bates and that would explain the depth of Willie's gene pool. Of course, the foul mouthed, raving lunatic Burger King addict of a father to Pickle Boy on YouTube would be priceless!!!!!
