Did anyone else pick up the "evil genius" vibe from Adam Driver? I mean, beside the fact that he was manipulating Ben Stiller for his own gain? Because, let's say the movie would have been about two scientists working on a cure for...something. Ben Stiller was making great strides toward a cure but his friend Adam Driver were struggling, so he used his charm and personality to steal the cure from Ben Stiller. Does any of this make sense?

I got the feeling He sort of the same kind of character like Gordon Gekko or david Mccall, using your skills in emotional manipulation to get ahead.

I personally liked Jaime and his ambition. He was willing to do whatever it took to become a success and that meant creating something that was fresh and interesting, asking for aid from more successful folks, and making "friends". Although I would say that Stiller's character would be the scientist who spent years working on a cure but got side tracked by morals and his own personal hang ups and never finished while Adam's character is the younger more ambitious scientist who bypasses morals and ends up creating the cure needed.

he is definitely on the dark side but i wouldn't say that force is particularly strong in him
