Still An Excellent Film & Reminder of what we have to fight

Watching Seal Team Six Raid on Bin Laden now, reminded of how incredible ZD30 is in comparison. Am about to switch because ZD30 is so much more watchable and believable. I see a lot of "inaccuracy" posts on here but Mark Boal is a family friend and I know from fact he has interacted with military and governmental personnel on a regular basis and he really did his homework when re-writing the script. Who re-writes an entire script for no additional pay? Someone who actually cares for the truth of the situation, the minutiae correct down to the core. Character development based on real accounts of the events is bar none. It's a shame this didn't receive more accolades, as a film it's one I think of often even though times have changed. The score brilliant and appropriate, direction amazing, a complete package. Too bad Hollywood politics pretty much nixed this film from the recognition it honestly deserved. I lived and worked in Hollywood for a time, and also have very deeply rooted connections within the military spectrum so I tiny bit of an idea how it all works and this film pretty much nails it. Bin Laden may be dead and gone but insurgents are still carrying out (or trying to) his mission so this film is relevant and will be for a while.

Mark Boal is an idiot, who thinks he's a journalist.
The CIA fed him lies and he bought them.

There is no excuse for the pro-torture-bias of his movie.
Boal is just an ignorant human being.
Why doesn't he taste some waterboarding & torture if he thinks it's right ?

This is really funny...
I read some news articles about the MANY inaccuracies in this "reported movie".
They got most of the details of the raid wrong, including the dog (!).

The languages spoken are sometimes wrong.

They misrepresented the probability of Bin Laden being in the house:
It was much more uncertain, than they say in the film.
They did this, because the truth would have been cruel:
The lives of innocent people didn't matter...

Don't confuse this Hollywood thriller with reality.
That's what the CIA wants.
