Concept is amazing, but it should have been done...
... as a film trilogy, maximum. You really have to suspend you disbelief, with these series, specially since branding is too obvious, and there's no credibility in the organization of the resources, in the boat.
Still, the series, on each episode, really knows how to create some thrills, and despite some really horrid acting by some of the younger members of the cast, still some good ones, specially coming from Iván Massagué, whose "Burbuja" came as annoying at first, and later was fully developed, into a fascinating character and performance, being the real saving grace of the whole thing.
If Hollywood remakes this, please let it be on film, and keep it away from Abrams and his friends, it's more on Carpenter territory.
